Dear Customers,
After a lot of thought, I am writing to let you know that KA Distribution Services will be bringing its hosting services to an end by 31st August 2026.
Before anything else, I want to reassure you that this is not a decision I have taken lightly, and I have made every effort to ensure that customers are looked after properly and that this process is as smooth as possible.
After careful consideration, I have agreed to pass all customers to FyfeWeb, a North East based hosting business run by Jaden Fyfe. This will allow customers to continue receiving hosting services from a local provider, while ensuring continuity and a smooth transition.
I will work alongside FyfeWeb to manage the migration process, ensuring your website, services and associated data are transferred across with minimal disruption.
For customers who have additional services with KA Distribution Services, such as domain names, telephony services, or hosted phone numbers, these will also be included as part of your personalised migration plan and transferred across to FyfeWeb where applicable.
The migration to FyfeWeb is the fully supported route, with both myself and FyfeWeb working together to ensure a smooth transition.

Once you have completed the registration, please let me know so that your migration can be planned and arranged.
If you do not wish to migrate to FyfeWeb, support will be provided to help you leave KA Distribution Services. However, the setup, configuration and migration of services with your chosen new provider will need to be managed by yourself and/or your new provider.
As part of the move to FyfeWeb, any customers who currently pay annually will have their existing terms honoured. You will not be asked to pay again immediately following the migration. Instead, your next annual payment will become due when your current annual hosting term expires.
As the KA Distribution Services customer portal will close as part of this process, anyone who requires copies of previous invoices or account records for their own records should log in to the client portal and download these before 31st August 2026. After this date, access to the portal will no longer be available.
Please complete your FyfeWeb registration by the end of July 2026 so that there is sufficient time to plan and complete all required migrations.
